An illusion is a distortion of the senses, revealing how the brain normally organizes and interprets sensory stimulation.

While illusions distort reality, they are generally shared by most people. Illusions may occur with more of the human senses than vision, but visual illusions, optical illusions, are the most well known and understood.

The emphasis on visual illusions occurs because vision often dominates the other senses.

MARCH 27, 2014 – A LEAGUE

‘A’ CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

"STICKER GENIUS" HAWKS; 3
"OPPENHEIMER" BRUINS; 2

2-2 tie 6 minutes left in the contest. The Hawks are under siege – the puck rarely leaves their zone. Then skating gingerly up the ice – Hawks winger Jeff Funk just crosses the Bruins blue line – goes cross grain and it appears he is attempting to dump the puck into the corner. Guess what? The puck slowly finds the back of the net short side just inside the goalpost, for the game winner with 45 seconds to go! The Hawks hold on and Captain John Shelton’s crew capture the Sam Cupp! Congrats to the Hawks. Hawks goalie Kirk Larson once again with a top notch effort between the pipes. The Hawks were up early 2-0 on goals by Dean “Rollerblade” Kirluk and defenseman Pierre Dugas, and it could have been more, if not for the puck stopping efforts of Bruins goaltender Muddy. Captain Rex Baker’s crew roar back with tallies from Baker and "Mr. Bruin" Mike Riddle, to set up the games epic final minutes. Bruins center Mike Riddle with a pair of roughing penalties in the game. One of those involved Mr. Funk – who also picked up a roughing minor. The Hawks partied well into the night at Joe Kools!

WE ARE RIGHT BACK AT IT APRIL 17TH FOR 2014 SUMMER SEASON!
